A former custom home builder and remodeler, Alfano served as Editor-in-Chief of JLC in the 1990s and Editorial Director of Hanley Wood’s Residential Remodeling Group for 13 years. He joined Professional Remodeler in October 2014.

Kristina Ferrigan
Kristina Ferrigan has more than 17 years experience as a manager of sales, events, and showrooms for companies in the luxury home improvement market. As Director of Marketing for Chicago-based Normandy Remodeling, Kristina has implemented a content-driven marketing strategy, and initiated a “personal branding” focus that has been adopted by the 19-member Normandy Sales Team. Kristina was recently named to Professional Remodeler’s 40 under 40 list.

Vin Gerrior
Vin Gerrior is Director of Sales for Thompson Creek Window Company. Since 2002, he has helped annual revenue grow from $1.5M to more than $60M. At the center of his success is a focus on helping the people on his sales teams develop and grow into exemplary sales professionals. While many refer to careers in sale leadership as a discipline, for Vin it is an obsession.

Brian Gottlieb
Brian Gottlieb, President of Tundraland Home Improvements, is an inspirational business owner who founded his home improvement company in 2009 with an initial investment of only $3,000. Brian has grown Tundraland to one of the largest home improvement companies in the state of Wisconsin. Tundraland is deeply embedded in the community and is a Proud Partner of the Green Bay Packers. Brian Gottlieb believes that while he's in the home improvement industry, he's really in the business of developing people and building a culture where employees are part of something much greater than themselves. He has a proven model that shows a company can do well financially while also doing tremendous good for the community we all live in.

Melissa Kennedy
Melissa Kennedy is the Sales and Design Manger for Meadowlark Builders. A graduate of the University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Melissa worked at a commercial office for three years before joining Meadowlark, where she has spent eight years as an integral part of the company's growth and development. Melissa guides clients through the design and product selection process, and enjoys cultivating and communicating the company culture at Meadowlark. Melissa spends her free time lifting weights, participating in triathlons and endurance races, and creating and inventing with her two young boys, Makai and Ronan.

Michael Lee
Michael Lee is a multicultural diversity expert who helps people understand how ethnic people think, behave and buy, including Hispanics, Asians, Middle Easterners, African Americans, Europeans, and others. He is president of Seminars Unlimited, a multi-cultural consulting firm in Castro Valley, California. A real estate broker and salesperson since 1977, Michael is a former marketing director for the State of California, and a former professor of marketing at several universities. The author of three books, including Opening Doors: Selling To Multicultural Real Estate Clients, and Selling to Multicultural New Home Customers, Michael is an award-winning salesperson and sales manager of both large franchised companies and small independent firms. He has more than 15 years experience speaking around the world on the subject of selling to multicultural customers.

Dave Mattson
Dave Mattson is a best-selling author, sales and management thought leader, keynote speaker and leader for sales training seminars around the world. As CEO and President of Sandler Training, Dave oversees the corporate direction n and strategy for the company’s global operations including sales, marketing, consulting, alliances and support. His key areas of focus are sales leadership, strategy and client satisfaction.

Nigel F. Maynard
Nigel Maynard is Editor-in-Chief of PRODUCTS and NKBA magazines. Maynard grew up in St. Croix, where he learned construction helping his step-dad build the family home from the ground up. Since that early introduction, he has bought and remodeled four homes, and has taken up cabinet and furniture making. His current home was featured on HGTV’s I Want That! and was profiled in The Washington Post. Prior to joining SGC Horizon, Maynard was the Editor-in-Chief of Lebhar-Friedman’s all-digital products magazine, Residential Building Products & Technology.

Bill Millholland
Bill Millholland is Executive Vice-President for Case Design/Remodeling. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Maryland in College Park, Md., Bill joined Case in January of 1990 as an Assistant Project Designer. His current responsibilities include management of the company’s design and sales efforts. Bill is a regular contributor to Professional Remodeler magazine.

Tom Morrison
Tom Morrison is student of marketplace disruption. Tom’s sessions help companies understand the where, how, and why of market disruption and how to lead it instead of falling victim to it. An award-winning association executive at Metal Treating Institute, Tom walks his talk – using the principles he espouses in his presentations, he led growth in MTI’s net worth of more than 1,000% since 2006. Mark Richardson
Mark Richardson is an author, columnist, and business growth strategist. Mark began his remodeling career selling remodeling for Case Design, and later, as president of that company he pioneered the design-build remodeling business model. He is a member of the NAHB Remodeling Hall of Fame, a Fellow at Harvard University’s Joint Center for Housing Studies, and was named an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Construction and Real Estate. He authored the best-selling books, “How Fit Is Your Business” and “Fit To Grow.”

Dale Thornberry
Dale Thornberry is CEO of Remote Sales Force Inc. Fourteen years ago, after a twenty‐year career in home improvement, Dale pioneered development of technological tools for the home improvement business. He founded of GeoEstimator and later served as consultant for Hover, Inc., and over the years he and his team have had seven issued patents in the remote- and aerial- measurement space, including Eagleview’s popular Quick Squares product. Most recently, Dale and his team created One Click Contractor, a digital tool that will help contractors to thrive in the online environment of the 21st century.
